My love of sewing began in the mid-2000s when I signed up for a fashion design summer camp. I went in dreaming of designing and sewing my own clothes, but instead spent the week learning the fundamentals: how to read a pattern, thread a sewing machine, and master the basics. While it wasn’t what I expected, those lessons became the foundation of the sewing skills I’ve relied on for the past two decades.

After that first introduction to sewing, my Grandma Betsy encouraged my growing interest by helping me make doll clothes, gifts, and countless other projects. We spent hours together cutting fabric, pressing seams, and carefully bringing patterns to life. She also gave me my very first sewing machine—a Singer Esteem II—which has stitched nearly every item you’ll find on this website.

With endless patience, encouragement, and love, my grandma taught me almost everything I know about sewing. So when I started this business in 2025, naming it in her honor felt like the most meaningful way to recognize the person who inspired it all. While she doesn’t sew as often these days, we still enjoy spending time together creating and crafting whenever we can.

For me, sewing has always been about more than fabric and thread. It’s a way to preserve memories, connect with others, and share the joy of making something by hand. Every piece I create carries a little of the love, patience, and creativity my grandma passed down to me, and I’m honored to share that with you.
